Talvenote ("we") operates messaging services on Facebook Messenger on behalf of business pages. This policy explains what data we process when you message one of those pages.
1. Data we process
- Your Messenger page-scoped ID, first name, last name, profile picture, locale and timezone, as provided by Meta when you start a conversation.
- The content of messages you send to the page and our replies.
- Your interactions with buttons and links inside the conversation.
2. Why we process it
- To reply to the conversation you started and to send you information related to the topic you asked about.
- To send follow-up messages you have agreed to receive. You can stop them at any time by replying STOP.
- To keep the service secure and measure how it is used.
3. Legal basis
Your consent, given when you start the conversation and when you opt in to follow-up messages, and our legitimate interest in operating and securing the service (GDPR art. 6(1)(a) and (f)).
4. Sharing
We do not sell your data. Data is shared only with Meta Platforms (as the Messenger operator) and with hosting providers that process it on our behalf under contract.
5. Retention
Conversation data is kept while the conversation is active and for up to 24 months after your last interaction, unless you ask us to delete it earlier.
6. Your rights
You may request access, correction, portability or deletion of your data, and object to processing, by writing to [email protected]. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your data protection authority.
